Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Things always go better when you’re on more than a one way street and this can be taken into contractual talks and negotiations. Take a little but also give a little. You want to start the New Year in a “new” way whether it’s a new release, tour, or act. Even though you want to get things out there make sure you’re not flying on the emotional high of getting it done. Slow down a moment and tie up all the loose ends first, and if you must move ahead do it before or after the Mercury Retrograde of January 11 to 31st.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
To describe you as anything less than determined is always a mistake. Forceful is a better word but forceful forces those you come in contact with to step back; you want them coming to you. Don’t compromise how you want to present yourself or anything to do with your sound or message. You believe you’re flexible but you will have to stretch even further when you misinterpret messages after the Full Moon of January 10th.

Gemini (May21 – June 20)
Your occasional “I’m all hemmed in,” feeling returns with a vengeance and the Twin that loves the road is ready to go; the other one not so much. This inner battle only serves to frustrate you more as the outer world seems determined to get on your last nerve. Is it too much to expect others to embrace rehearsal schedules that you impose…I mean suggest? Between January 10th and the 26th, you’ll find that apparently it is.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
This is in fact the halfway point of your personal year so while everyone else is making new resolutions and determinations you may simply take stock of how far you’ve come in the whole “my goal this year” thing. Turn to those that offered time and talent on tracks you talked about putting together; they meant it then and you’re both ready now.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Is it time to go into the studio and just hang out with the music? In case you don’t know the answer – the answer is yes. You’re a different kind of cat – literally – and you must respect that your needs are different as well. Taking time off from performing to perfect your performance is fun for you because you can feel how freaking hot the new act is going to be and how freaking good you’re going to look doing it. To you this is relaxing, restful and rejuvenating – it’s the perfect vacation.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
You are determined to succeed this year and not make the mistakes you’ve made in the past. As a caretaker you have tended to bring people in to work with you that shouldn’t be there. It’s nice that they enjoy what you do but you need to make clearer divides between friends & lovers, family, and work. Unless your Cuz is a CPA with a degree in business management don’t let them anywhere near your books…even if they are…maybe not.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Mercury Retrograde is going to hit you right in the communication sector and misunderstandings can be expected after January 10th. Listen, listen, listen…and then make sure you’ve got all the details and you understand them. “So, what you’re saying is…?” should be a conversation staple for the month. “So, what you’re saying is that we’re flying out of O’Hare to London on the 15th at 9:30 in the morning?” Make sure you have all the details.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Venus and Mars shine their light on you which is good because it gives smooth loving energy to your actions. You wont escape the confusion of the Mercury Retrograde as it will probably be left to you to make peace between feuding band mates, venue managers, road crews, agents and publicists…no one’s talking to each other. Tread carefully and try “not now” instead of a flat out “no”. It gives others hope.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
As a Sagittarian you don’t actually need to be told to be conservative and keep track of paperwork, contracts, and travel or equipment receipts but do it anyway. Remember you’re not only covering your own backside, you’re covering mistakes, losses, and misunderstandings on partner’s parts as well. Fine tune your body as you would your instrument or voice – it’s the case you carry your talent in.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
They might try telling you “no” but with Mars in your sign from December 27th to February 4th it’s not going to do them any good. You will have your way. You’re dynamic, decisive and irresistible – the world is your stage and you’re getting a standing ovation. This is only too good to be true if you don’t believe you’re worth it and I sincerely hope that we don’t have to go there.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
You wanting to embark on an adventure is nothing new but a whole new mind set is needed to really get this New Year started right. This entire year will bring opportunities to broaden your fan base, stabilize your business foundations, and step outside your creative boundaries. The new mind set is a shift from thinking you’re going to do this “somewhere sometime” to believing that this is your life now – all you’ve go to do is live it.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Everywhere you go you are bathed in a warm spotlight of love and appreciation. Your fans love you, the media hang on your every word and action and you can do no wrong in the eyes of management. It’s a very nice start to the year. Still, you should take the time needed and examine propositions very carefully for Mercury Retrograde hidden snags.
